Todd Akin threw Todd Akin under the bus by making statements that were extreme even for right wing beliefs. He tried to move the bar and ended up hitting his head on it.

Todd Akin has only himself to blame.

Any politician in a campaign would be foolish to stand by this guy. You can't get votes allying yourself with ignorance and stupidity. Todd Akin has demonstrated both, many times over.
