This video shows just how idiotic the leftists sound when they claim "racist" on every issue. I didn't know whether to post this in U.S. Political Madness (since it's dealing with the crazies on the left) or post it in the Humor forum, since it uses humor to do it.

Yeah this video is really stupid. But what can you expect when it is made by tea-partiers? They want to repeal the civil rights act because of "property rights". A lot believe Obama is foreign and Muslim.

Maybe the GOP get called racists because they spew it on TV/radio/film/speeches openly

c'mon, everyone knows this is a highly exaggerated, and simplistic view of supposed racism. birther, foreign, not one of us, kenyan, muslim, are the REAL racists words and phrases that are used to describe Obama.

While there may be a few people who see every anti-Obama sentiment as "racist", it's not the majority AT ALL and to try to paint the entire left AND the accusations of racism, as simply political correctness, having no basis in fact, is entirely misleading.

People don't get accused of being racist for simply disagreeing with Obama's policies. They get accused of racism when they obviously see Obama is something other than the American-born politician that he is. They get accused of racism when they say things like. "Black people only voted for Obama because he's black" or "white people voted for Obama to relieve their guilt" or repeat some of the insane birther crap that's out there, insinuating that Obama is hiding something, that he's foreign or a usurper.

No one ever asked Mitt Romney for his birth certificate. Wonder why...
No one has asked for his social security number or his college transcripts.
No one has doubted his parentage.
No one questions his allegiance to his stated religion.
No one has asked about his parent's marriage.
No one has asked for his wife's college thesis.
No one has examined his Mormon ministers or posted videotapes of them.

Romney was asked for his tax records, which every other president provides, and he refused. His privacy is intact. But for some reason, it's OK to keep pestering Obama about something FOR YEARS that he has already supplied.

Because Obama has been treated SO differently from the other presidents, it becomes clear where some people's minds are sitting. If it quacks like a duck...

Stupid video.

Ha! This is brilliant! I've been wondering how to avoid being racist because it seems to really irk some people. Now I know all I have to do is vote for the black guy whenever the opprtunity arises. And if there's no black guy on the ballot for some racist reason? I'll simply write in Sherman Helmsly. Thanks for the valuable lesson!

Disliking the president's policies isn't racist at all. Thinking for yourself and using information in order to make an informed opinion on a political subject isn't racist.

What's interesting is those that don't understand the difference between bigotry and racism.

Thinking that all Muslims are terrorists isn't racist, it's bigoted. Protesting Mosques is bigoted. Any group that would use their 1st Amendment right to try and stifle the 1st Amendment rights of others are bigots and no better than the westboro baptist church idiots.

Believing that Obama was born in Kenya despite the overwhelming evidence that he was actually born in Hawaii is racist because it's based only on his heritage and not fact.

Not agreeing with Obamacare isn't racist. It's just a Constitutionally protected opinion.

being terrified of this man:

and not terrified of this man:

is racist because neither one is any real threat to anyone, but one is black and one is white.

Can we see the difference?

Watching 1 minute of this video, lowered my I.Q.......

Bob really needs to fire his production unit of 1, and script writers (hacks).

Obama is a crappy President, and race has NOTHING to do with it. I am 100% sure, that Romney will be the same type of President, that Obama is. A crappy one.

wow!...you really got a grip on what racism is....your thoughtfulness, and critical thinking skills, per the above statement shows the true depth of your understanding and concern on this topic.

There is truth to this. I was once called a "Nazi" for not voting for obama in 2008,
then called racist several times when asked if I would vote for him in
November.

Political correctness is tyranny with manners.

So, jimmy. Are you saying that the ideas portrayed in the video are flawed in some way? That there is no hypocrisy in the way that the concept of "racism" is applied Right vs Left? You need not be concerned with my depth of understanding here. If you find my comments harsh, I would suggest you're a bit too sensitive. But of course that's the popular stance isn't it.

No doubt that there are racists in the world. "Typical white person" would be an example of being racist. Or, maybe "typical black person"? Nobody disputes that racism exists. Thing is, it seems to be okay when Democrats are racists...just so long as they are Democrats. Whereas, a conservative can't even debate policy without being accused of being a racist. That's the point. Here's one of your pals...

Actually, i think that the creators of the video missed the point. Sure, there are plenty of non racist conservatives that don't like Obama based on his policies, and that's perfectly acceptable and fine. What the creators of the video obviously miss is that many conservatives have a deep seeded hatred for Obama based on his skin color and presumed religious background.

If you were to tell me that you don't like X policy from this administration because it causes Y issue, that's not racism, that's an informed opinion.

But, if you were to tell me that Obama is destroying this country to help his Muslim Brotherhood or Al Qaeda palls, then that would be bigoted.

Likewise, if you were to tell me that Obama isn't eligible to be President because his Father is Kenyan. Or, that every action that Obama has taken has been done in order to obtain reparations for his black brothers oppressed by the white man. That's racist.

Do we understand the difference?

Disliking Obama because of his political ideology, his policies, or his track record isn't racist at all.

Probably because Mitt's family history hasn't been proven a lie. Huffington Post
Ask Mitt for both his SSN and College Records. I'm okay with that. Get it? I'd be willing to bet his SSN was issued in the state he was living in, rather than a state thousands of miles away.
Then question his parentage.
Of course nobody questions his allegiance to his religion. He wasn't raised Shinto or Buddhist, then converted to Mormonism. He was born Mormon, and has been his entire life.
Feel free to question his parent's marriage. In fact, I'd like to see their marriage certificate. So, ask.
Ann's Thesis? Do you need one for a BA in French? Seriously, I don't know. I don't see what you'd have to write a thesis about. But, let's see it. I agree.
The left has demonized his religion, over and over again.

This one made me laugh. I find it curious after Romney said "Nobody asked me for my birth certificate" or something like that, the Obama administration has completely stopped bringing up the returns, and Obama's state run media has as well. Oops...LOL.

Personally, I'd like to see Romney's and ALL politician's returns for the past 10 years. Everything...full disclosure. I'd be willing to bet 99% of them are crooks.

I liked the video for it's tacky humor and cut-rate production.

The message is also a good one in that not all people that disagree with Obama are racists.

The other side of the coin is that not everyone that disagrees with the Republicans are socialist liberal Marxists. I don't see how either side can claim to be better than the other when it comes to false labeling.

If we could all agree to stop with the propaganda and rhetoric then we might actually be able to talk about responsible policy.

You have a valid point here. I am just as guilty of this as anyone else. I tend to lump all republicans in the same homophobic/xenophobic/racist/sexist/intolerant/fundamentalist camp, and that's just not right. Not every conservative is a hatemonger hell bent on making the US a carbon copy of leave it to beaver. (not neocons, I'm dead on about neocons, conservatives)

Maybe if we all work on the problems facing this nation instead of pigeonholing each other into the worst of each demographic, we could get real solutions accomplished.

Ooooooooooooh yes they do! I don't know what kind of people live on your mountaintop over there ... but people here in city absolutely scream 'racist' at those who aren't voting for Obama. if you don't want him and his polcies in .. then you are automatically called a racist. And I've seen it on these boards A LOT .. lots of INSINUATIONS of racism that simply aren't true.
