So far its a ton of, "we are this".. "we are great because of this"... "we believes"..

Sad thing is, each of their proclaimed 'beliefs' can be shot down with their recent voting records. If you want to think with LOVE as you say Ms. Romney, why does your husband support ideas that promote hate? Living with love means providing for those who cant provide for them-self... A true christian knows we are to serve others, not yourself first, if we expect the blessings of god.

I keep hearing them complain about 'results' and a president who has done nothing. But neglect all of the cock blocking they have done to Obama's attempt to fix things.

Tons of emotional epitaphs and finger pointing, but not a single actual plan so far.. Still waiting for some details on what makes the Republicans different then democrats, aside from their supposed "Love" for one another.

Generic white guy? Where do you think you are, a meeting of the Black Panthers? If the Democrat Party wasn't so busy telling blacks and minorities that Republicans hate them and are having a war on them there might be more not-so-generic non whites like Artur Davis. Also Nikki Haley is not a generic white guy either.

Without reading any of this, and not really politically interested ,I have something to say.

I am a union man.
I belong to a union for some 25 years or so.

I have a big problem with teacher unions,as well as all the rest of them.

Protecting those who should not be protected, but should be thrown out.
Those that under perform ,or fail at they're job, well, should be fired.
Not reassigned to a basement admin job.
Why do I say this, cause I see it all the time.

Where I live, they can not fire a teacher.
How freaking insane is that??????

Now that's one way to get a standing ovation.

Just scream for everyone to stand up.

I agree they are boring. Correction, they are corrupted and boring liers. But do you want to cut the racist crap already? Seriously, you and your whole party would be crying racist if someone said "Guh, boring black democrats now talking." Why not just "boring guy talking" (edit woops, ok we can put democrat in there). Isn't that what the left is always upset about?
Seriously, do your party a favor and stop the hypocritical double standards.

You're the one playing the race card. The democratic convention is bound to have plenty of boring black guys, boring Jews, boring Latinos, and boring orientals. It's a crying shame that the GOP is mostly boring white guys but they make it abundantly clear that they don't particularly care for minorities. And minorities don't particularly care for the GOP. Now why do you think that is?

LOL yeah I'm the only one bringing up the race card, really? If you can't see the doublestandards then wow, don't even bother injecting yourself into the conversation.

She's in there to specifically pitch Mitt to women. No other reason. She's trying to humanize the Ken Doll she married. DUH!

I'm stating fact...that isn't racist.

The Republican party is over 90% white...and they tend to be very very boring....Chris Christie being the exception.

I'm sorry you have a problem with me stating the obvious.

People are saying how boring the convention is. I guess everyone is expecting more of the ObamaStardom. And oh yah ignoring that Democrat turned Republican Artur Davis who has jumped ship and spoke at the convention. Maybe more will jump when they realize socialism is a loser.
And I guess most people here just hate that a Tea Party governor spoke as well. Go Nikki!
I LOVE the We BUILT IT slogan! Way to go.

Just saw that Condi Rice is sitting next to Romney.

I think everyone here is whining because they want Repubs to say stupid things so they can make a big deal of it. What else was everyone expecting?

Yes, the Condi positioning is very interesting. Notice that later on in Christie's speech it seems that someone noticed this, and switched to views of wife Ann on his right. She doesn't seem pleased that Christie hasn't mentioned her man's name for most of his speech. I don't think she trusts Christie at all, and justifiably so. Christie is blatantly positioning himself for his own Presidential bid in 2016. He's good...REAL good, at promoting himself.

Hey, no problem but if your party didn't spend so many years conditioning society to believe that it's offensive to put "black" in front of everything, I wouldn't be offended when you put "white" in front of everything. As it stands tho, I find it to be extremely hypocritical.

Let's hope the DNC doesn't follow suit and put Michelle in their convention to pitch Obama..but you know they will. They lost Oprah as a frontrunner cheerleader.

On a more ugly note....

RNC Attendee Allegedly Threw Nuts At Black CNN Camerawoman, Said ‘This Is How We Feed Animals’

An attendee at the Republican National Convention in Tampa on Tuesday allegedly threw nuts at a black camerawoman working for CNN and said “This is how we feed animals” before being removed from the convention, a network official confirmed to TPM.

The CNN official declined to confirm specific details of the incident to TPM but generally confirmed an account posted on Twitter by former MSNBC and Current anchor David Shuster: “GOP attendee ejected for throwing nuts at African American CNN camera woman + saying ‘This is how we feed animals.’”

It is not clear whether the alleged culprit was a delegate or attending the convention in some other capacity.

In a written statement, CNN addressed the matter but divulged few details: “CNN can confirm there was an incident directed at an employee inside the Tampa Bay Times Forum earlier this afternoon. CNN worked with convention officials to address this matter and will have no further comment.”

TPM’s calls to RNC and convention officials were not immediately returned.

Disgusting behavior...very disgusting behavior.

I wish I could say I am surprised by this, but sadly I am not. There is no excuse for this, and I hope the RNC leaders condemn this behavior.

But this is what you get when you base your Convention around hate and division.

Agreed. This is there attempt at appealing to Women voters. Saying, WE LOVE YOU!!! While advocating policies that would strip rights from women, and choices that were settled decades ago, just to pander to them.. Sad. Sad. Sad
