I find this kind of interesting because I was just watching a Through the Wormhole episode and one of the Scientist was saying we live in a mirror universe and we should find galaxies close to and just like ours. He was saying we should find these galaxies in front of us and behind us.

He was saying if all of space is located in your room, light would reflect copies of you throughout your room. He was saying it does the same in the universe but on a much larger scale. Here's some of the article.

The Milky Way Galaxy is a fairly typical galaxy, but when paired with its close neighbors – the Large and Small Magellanic Clouds – it is very rare.

The team, led by Dr Aaron Robotham of the International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research (ICRAR), and the University of St Andrews in Scotland, searched for groups of galaxies similar to ours in the most detailed map of the local Universe yet, the Galaxy and Mass Assembly survey (GAMA).

“We found about 3% of galaxies similar to the Milky Way have companion galaxies like the Magellanic Clouds, which is very rare indeed. In total we found 14 galaxy systems that are similar to ours, with two of those being an almost exact match,” Dr Robotham explained.

It does sound interesting though.
Hope it was just an input error.

This matches the Einstien Rosen bridge theory. Spiral galaxies are flat plains. Everything in nature has dualities ie light/dark, Yin/Yang etc. A black hole may work two ways. This means that each galaxy is connected to another. This could one day allow for interstellar travel. It would work like a mirror.

I don't believe this but it's just a thought based on a mirror universe.

What if the universe is just 1 particle. Let's call it the Alpha Particle. In the early universe, light would have reflected this one Alpha Particle over and over again. As the universe expands, this one Alpha Particle is now Galaxies and Stars. This would mean there's not only twin galaxies but twin earths and many versions of us.

This will mean everything is just a reflection of this one particle. This would also mean theres one Alpha Milky Way that contains the Alpha earth.
