In response to the recent flood of pro Nazi crap out there...

Since the last few threads that have been created involving pseudo-historical nonsense involving the Third Reich and its "apparent" innocence have been closed (and for good reason), I wanted to make this thread to vent my frustration over the growing ranks of Nazi apologists around the world and the (IMHO) surprising intellectual dishonesty being perpetrated by members here on ATS claiming that by looking at the evidence with a "critical mind" one will come to the realization that the Nazi's were victims...please....

I agree with looking at the evidence with a "critical mind", but I have news for all those "critical thinkers" out there living in Oz who have found the "hidden truth"...you are not critical thinkers (that's a judgment I am not ashamed of making), and you are wrong. You have all failed to analyze the evidence in detail, or due to your preconceived notions of a vast Zionist conspiracy that encompasses the world and its governments, you then fail to even accept evidence that contradicts your world view.

By simply going to the Wikipedia article on Nazi Germany and viewing the plethora of references and sources on the atrocities committed by that government, one can see how thoroughly researched and documented the history is.

World War 2 and Nazi era Germany are to this day the most bewitching subjects in modern history, anyone who is seriously interested in the field of history has spent countless hours scanning history books, journals, and government documents; not to mention the more serious ones who actually go and conduct interviews with victims, perpetrators, retired politicians and veterans to add credence to the slew of evidence which already exists to condemn the actions of Nazi Germany, Imperialist Japan, and Fascist Italy.

This absurdity needs to end! It is perpetuated by conspiracy theories which have no basis in reality, and were honestly encouraged by the Nazis themselves and the radical Christian right of the time.

These conspiracies have lingered all this time and have survived by evolving, first it was the Jews, then the Socialists, then the reptilians, now its everyone who is in government regardless of political affiliation or ideology.

If this rant is anything, it is a call for sanity and reason. I commend the creators of this site for allowing people to talk about controversial and fringe issues; I believe there is truth buried in these subjects. However, this does not give a free pass to those who want to peddle lies which have been debunked and debunked and then...debunked.

To all those "critical thinkers" out there here you go...Critical Thinking and...Skepticsim.

I am sorry that you would use wiki for all of your research needs as there are far better sources out there.
I do not apologize for the nazis, but I do know that history is written by the victors and I have several questions about the "death camps" and how they operated.
My first two questions would be, "when gassing 1000 people, how did you keep all of that gas from killing everyone else in the camp, including the guards"?
Next question would be, "how did you contain a stampede of humans inside of a fragile little box anyway"?!
There are so many more questions to be answered that nobody seems to have an answer.

Many people are too afraid to watch films debunking lies, I do not know why, maybe they fear questioning their beliefs.

Wikipedia is simply a reference tool; by looking at the sources you can further your investigation in more detail. Yeah there are a lot of other good sites out there, but nothing is better IMO then the library where most of the source material will be.

Maybe this can help? Death Camps it was the first hit on Google, so more then likely there is a more thorough source. But this one seems pretty good it provides sources.

Well since those who were taken to the camps did not really believe they would be killed there was little resistance in the camps.

1. Yes ... many of the Jews didnt know what was happening. They were not given masks. They just were not in the chambers when the gas was released.

2. If they were taken straight from the train and gassed there wouldnt have been much time to do anything. They didnt know what was going to happen so they did what the men with guns told them. Little did they know that they were being put to death.

Go to Germany and go to these camps. See the pictures, walk the grounds, and come back and tell us that this didnt happen.

I have heard many of these arguements before and I have done some digging. There is no conspiracy there. The horrors of the German concentration camps did happen and it is probably the darkest point in human history to date but it happened. We as a species must use this as an example and never ever let anything like this happen again.

The thing that frustrates me is that you don't have to go far to find people who were actually THERE when it happened. It's not like this is a historical incident so far in the distant past that the truth is difficult to discern... If you're undecided, if you feel you can't take the evidence at face value, just look into the stories of the survivors of those camps. There are many. They concur with one another.

There may be facts that are in doubt (e.g. how many Jews died? We don't know. 6m is an estimate. May be more. May be less)... but it is the quantity of the facts that varies, not the quality. Not a complicated issue.

The world before ww2 became increasingly divided in ideology. The left became more left, the right more right. Sadly I think er are seeing this happen more and more in todays world.

That is one of the things that frightens me now days, because of the polarization of the right and left around the world nationalism is gaining more and more momentum. Of course this is not something to be immediately concerned with (because they are still a very small minority in the grand scheme of things), but the fact that young people in my age group are being suckered in by a message of superiority and hate still makes my skin crawl.

If any nationalist party gained a majority in any government, only trouble would follow.

Indeed. Some people don't realize how dangerous extreme political ideologies are. Or for that matter simply opposed ideologies.

The world very nearly saw WW3 many times during the cold war because two factions had two very different ideas about how the world should be run. I'm completely convinced when China gets where they are heading, we will have another Cold War on our hands.

It's funny how people complain about Hitler threads but no one bats an eye with all the hate the Jews threads. They're one and the same.
