Okay, I am trying to find this one plant, Not sure what it is called, but they are Pepper Leaves. I had them like one time and only once. But they taste exactly like the crushed peppers, like the regular pepper you buy from the store, but it's in a leaf form. I was trying to find some seeds for it but, I'm having a bit of a problem.

Man, those things are like the best when you stick them in rice.

Looks a little like spinach but it's not.

So, does anyone grow them?

I need some seeds...

I'm craving these pepper leaves.

wow so many kinds even a vine!
en.wikipedia.org...

I have mountain pepper, but it has not produced pepper corns as you have to have a female and male and they gave me two Male plants! So if you get those be sure you have both, they get very large and are very nice to look at also.

Also the Myrtle tree has a taste that is pepperish, it can be used in the place of bay leaf as it is very similar but peppery. Stlll these don't grow just anywhere and they are very slow growers.

I don't know, I know it just looks like a regular plant.

When she took the leaves off and boiled them in the rice, it so tasted like regular pepper.

It is totally addicting.

Like, I want some more of that.

But, I have no clue what kind of leaves they were.

Should of asked her. But, never thought too.

Arugula should be the plant you are looking for. Very fresh peppery taste. It is used as on of the greens in mesclun salad mix. You can grow your own though and they are easy to grow. I prefer them when they are very young and tender for the best taste. Once matured they tend to have a slight bitter taste. Enjoy. Google it and tell me if thats the spinach looking pepper leaf you so desire!!

Ohhh, you found it.

You are awesome.

I think that's it.

Thank you.

Plants all look the same, so I'm not sure.

If you like salmon. Pan sear a piece and mix some arugula with a vinaigrette of lemon and lime juice (1/2 lemon - whole lime) a teaspoon of oil salt and pepper pinch of sugar. Get your favorite bread and lightly toast it. Toss arugula with viniagrette and make a sandwich. It is insane!!!
Its actually good minced up and spread on fresh strawberries also!
