Burglary with a creepy twist...

Perhaps a bit of news from the odd side is in order with the flood of news we're watching right now on a very somber event. On the other hand, this is also downright creepy. What possesses some people?

Ore. Man Allegedly Broke Into Homes To View Porn

EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — Police say a 21-year-old Oregon man broke into homes to look at pornography on the Internet, sometimes while the homeowners were inside.

Authorities say he broke into at least three homes since last September, sometimes entering the same home on multiple occasions.

In one home, a resident’s son told police he awoke to find someone in his bedroom.

It certainly does take all kinds and always has. The times are getting downright odd though. Burglary just to surf porn on someone else's connection? I've heard of addictions and I've even heard net porn addiction is being clinically defined. This sure goes way out there for proving the issue though.

I'd hope he's off somewhere and away from the public for a good long time. (shivers)

This isn't nearly aa creepy as some other things burglars do. They all have their fetishes.

A common one is to defecate on the floor.

Son: Um... it was the porn bandit, Mom!

Wife: I went to pay some online bills today and porn started popping up!
Husband: The porn bandit must have struck. I feel so violated!

Seriously, though. That is pretty weird.

Eh, not that weird. My aunt had someone come in through an unlocked door once to steal chicken wings, chocolate and Larry The Cable Guy on DVD. They completely ignored the laptop, TV, DVD player, etc...we figure they were stoned.

At least he was caught. Good to know his burglary days CAME to) a stop

You know, I think you're right. Although, how many actually do this in occupied homes and even rooms? That is what gives me a creepy feeling. If someone broke into a small business for this purpose, I'd just call them sick with issues. It wouldn't make my skin crawl quite like the idea of waking to this does.

*And I suppose some of the jokes do write themselves on this one...
