In addition, Mrs Bachmann's former campaign manager Ed Rollins wrote a scathing attack on Fox News' website, saying the Minnesota congresswoman "sometimes has difficulty with her facts, but this is downright vicious and reaches the late Senator Joe McCarthy level".

Her attacks on Huma Abedin also have Republicans calling on her to apologise and stop being such a dork - House Speaker Boehner and a couple of R senators have told her to back off - she's rejected these calls of course....but then she's not well known for good taste or common sense!
