WASHINGTON — It’s 13 weeks away, but Mitt Romney has already begun quietly prepping for his high-stakes inaugural debate with Barack Obama.

www.nydailynews.com...

Today Mitt Romney has been quietly preparing for his debate with Obama while Obama is on his "betting on America" jobs tour...

1. Oct. 3 in Denver
2. Long Island’s Hofstra University on Oct. 16
3. Boca Raton, Fla., on Oct. 22

A vice presidential debate is set for Oct. 11 in Danville, Ky

I wonder if lowly citizens like me can get into the Long Island debate in October? It's the one closest to me. Are these events open to the public? As in do they sell tickets?

Ah for those in the Tri-State area. I just found this posted at Hofstra University's website.

No tickets available to the public at this time...Looks like I am going to have to befriend a student from the school, if I wanna get in

13 weeks ? Well, where's his VP???

When is the GOP Convention?

---------
By the time October gets here, the economy will be worse and the numbers out of

Labor Department will be even worse.

Add the ObamaCare Tax and Obama will have 3 very bad debates.

I find it funny that nobody cares about this.

Nobody cares because this whole elections cycle is a farce. We've all been duped and I have no need to hear these two repeat the same drivel.

There is just way too much pointing to this election being completely fraudulent. If I wanted to watch a scripted play, I would buy tickets to Cirque De Solei. At least they impress me.

Have you ever seen past debates? Debates where they dodge the questions, twist the truth, rewrite history, make faces at each other, make outlandish promises, and end with a fake smile. That is why many people aren't interested.

Many, many people were interested in the primary debates....

I wonder what has changed?

The fact that Romney has been declared the candidate and Ron Paul is nowhere to be found in the media..
Ratings drop when you take away everyone's favorite character.

Obama and Romney debate ?
On what ?
ObamaCare/ RomneyCare ?
Romneys biggest argument is Obama is a failure and he is a better choice, but he offers no PLANS just empty promises.
How is this any different from past presdential elections ?
It is about who can B.S. the people better .

I predict the lowest ratings of any debate this year. Nobody cares about Romney or Obama. You took the people's choice out of the election. Nobody cares anymore.

Hold on there. - Who will host the debates???

I think NBC ...lord of the EditGates should be barred.

Remember how they threw numerous hardball questions at Hillary but tossed

light fluffy softball questions at Senator Obama???

-------------
3 Debates?

I recommend 1) Fox News 2) CNN 3) CBS

Fair enough?

All of the tickets allocated to Hofstra for the 2012 debate will be distributed to current students in the days before the debate. University administrators and faculty, including Rabinowitz, will not be given seats in order to provide the maximum number of students with an opportunity to witness the debate in person. In 2008, 250 tickets were set aside for Hofstra students to attend the event, although more than 4,000 sought seats at the event. Students interested in attending the debate will be given instructions on how to sign up for a seat in the fall of 2012.

Students need cash and not all are political minded or interested. Post a flyer at the university? Cash for tickets? Check EBay? Craigslist?...just a thought.

What a joke this whole election is. Same old same old.

I vote for a revolution, peaceful or not.

It's the ONLY way things will change.
