Good stuff....

but ummm....Metal bands are required by law to utilize real drummers...

the kind that breathe, and eat, and hit on your girlfriend, and drink your beer....

maybe you could call it hard-core techno or something....not metal

the drumming wasen't programmed in, we have a real drummer, he played in the parts using triggers and then we tightened it up a bit, cutting and moving parts, its all real.

We use pro tools to record and arrange, and pod farm to create our own guitar tone which we use, we have done the mixing ourselves, so no other bands album eq will be the same as ours.

Everything individual, i like it

Peace out brother

funny though my drummer does all those things you mentioned.

haha

if you were wondering that they were programmed in because of how there is a bass drum hit on every note, thats just the style of djent my friend, the bass drum is hit on ever guitar open note, well in this case drop G.

sorry just to add on,

we are going to make our own professional music video soon.

keep on the look out.

Alrighty then... I guess that would explain it.

I'm just an old-school analogue guy trapped in a digital world, I suppose.

Maybe you could just not "tighten it up" so much while editing....I kinda like the nuance of the human feeling
imparted in music. I fear passion is being replaced by machinery....

I've sat on my drum kit at home and played along to this myself its really easy, well almost considering im the vocalist but its crazy to play.

Hey if anyone is a guitarist or a drummer cover our song please.

i totally agree with you 100% percent, i remember not too long ago i was going to write a book about how midi drums are bad for your heart but i never got round to it.

you may just be my inspiration to carry on mate.

Peace out bro

You've got some monster tones, no doubt. I envy you....I have a hard time even understanding the new
digital guitar stomp boxes and all their various parameters.

I bought one months ago and still only use two presets....oh well.

anyway, good luck....you do have a strange amalgam of new age lyrics with the djent vocal....it's interesting

Awesome song especially with the actual singing. Didn't care for the gutteral talk stuff. SING!

thanks, in fact it is harder to scream than it is to sing, risk of tearing your vocal chords, polyps, and even throat cancer. plus i do both for this band.

but thanks, and im glad you liked the singing :p

when we release the album, we have a song on it called light, which is only clean vocals (singing) its a beautiful song, gives me chills every time i hear it.

Cheers,

Not bad, but I have to agree with rival, I guess that is the "element" I feel is missing. It's why I can't stand electronic music. It's the emotion that the player puts behind it that moves me on top of talent. I can always pick out a recording where the drummer, guitarist ect. is bored of playing that song. (not saying that is the case here) Vocals are great. Many of the bands I listen have the growl, vocal combos; so I can definitely appreciate that.
