The high court on Monday threw out Americans' ability to send children to prison for the rest of their lives with no chance of ever getting out. The 5-4 decision is in line with others the court has made, including ruling out the death penalty for juveniles and life without parole for young people whose crimes did not involve killing.

Now my question is what about youths who were previously sentenced? Will their sentences be shortened? Will a date be set for them to receive a parole hearing?
It's also sad that this was split 5 to 4. Just another example that the "Supreme" Court is politically motivated. If something is unconstitutional yet 4 "Justices" vote for it, or it is constitutional and 4 vote against it, then clearly they are guided by their emotions and not the Constitution.
