Check out the crime rate of individuals that believe in neither.

This doesn't really matter anyhow. Humans bring themselves to commit crimes, ones beliefs are far less of a factor than (as RealSpoke said) poverty. I recommend you look at this thread that shows the correlation between income inequality and prison capacity.
