probably a little bit of propane or something that would explode.. plus it burns blue when not exposed to Oxygen/Could just be Natural Gas

My guess would be pure acetylene...leave it sit for a few minutes and get the same thing....skinny neck and less oxygen makes a nice blue flame!

One of my professors in college did this same experiment to show a combustion reaction using isopropyl alcohol. You can use methanol and ethanol for the same effect. I love science =D
