Psychic Competition

Greetings, I've been interested in people who claim to be psychic for some time and i was wondering if you all wanted to participate in this psychic event.

We are to compete against each other by posting in this thread.
Consider this a wrestling ring.
You can post here if you want to participate or just lurk and watch the fight.

In your post, state the name of the person you will be fighting.
Stating your skills or talents is up to you.
There's no limit to number of opponents that you can fight.
There's no limit to number of opponents that can fight you.
if at any point you feel seriously threatened, you can forfeit by posting "I forfeit"

Once you forfeit, you're out and you'll be left alone.

there are some rules:
- You are to fight the person, not their family, friends, pets etc
- You are responsible for your own actions, expect to deal with the consequences
- You are here to improve you skills and to practice not to kill people
- Do not join if you don't know what you're doing, you can be seriously hurt, so don't join if you don't want to be hurt.
- Once someone forfeits, you cannot fight them.

Basically, I use my psychic powers (if I have any) to imagine myself giving you a kick up the butt in order to get you to see how to 'fight' in this thread..

The strength of your psychic thoughts are used to influence a person/situation..

Problem is, proving that it worked..

thats one of the reasons i made this thread, to get these psychics to prove their psychicness

unfortunately for me, they dont seem to want to join and instead i've attracted the skeptics.
perhaps a psychic is behind all of this? CONSPIRACY!

probably the best anyone could do is attack someone in a dream. but then its tricky because none of know each other except by a username, but i guess that could still work

no it's because it's a crappy competition with a very broad objective. besides one doesn't acquire psychic abilities by trying. it comes through an increase of awareness, by saturating the mind in the subconscious

we should make to where we have to guess the social security number of a person's username or his credit card number

guessing someones number would come under remote viewing.. as you'd never 'guess' it and nobody can read minds to hack the brain for the number.

The one way this might work is if we left a trigger object to be moved..
Nobody knows what the trigger object is excpet for each individual who chooses one. The pyschic waves would seek this trigger object and influence it..

what people look like is of no consequence.. I could focus on your username as this is the most direct link to you and to your trigger object..

if you want to prove the existence of psychic phenomena you don't need someone else to do it for you. you have a mind don't you? that means you too are capable.

Come on now, this is ridiculous.

What is this going to prove? Fourteen year old A will think psychic thoughts real hard at fourteen year old B until...what? How are they "battling"? This isn't X-Men. The fact that the idea is even framed that way shows that the approach to the subject is very immature. No one is going to participate, and if they do, it will be the internet equivalent of playing with the kid in the neighborhood who always went "Nuh uh! You didn't shoot me! I have special armor!"

Why not give the subject a little dignity? Why not set up a remote viewing test, or schedule a session in the chat where members can practice with zener cards with one another?
