I was told that 7 cups of coffee a day helps the prostate.

Also: You know how doctors tell us that we need to drink 64 ounces of water everyday? Yeah, that's wrong. The researchers that came up with that amount also included the water absorbed from food. Don't remember where I read it online, but it's out there.

Why did doctors try to tell people to stay away from caffeinated coffee? Were they trying to boost their business. Coffee contains many good chemicals and only a few bad. I guess that they weren't looking for the good, only the bad before. On top of being preventive medicine for Alzheimer disease as the link I am providing says, it contains Caffeic acid which neutralizes many aflotoxins created by microbes and is a powerful antioxidant. It does have a little organic fluoride to calm you too, so don't eat salty food at the same time or heartburn may occur. It goes good with cinnamon toast or cardamon bread. Here's a link, I have read hundreds of links with studies of the chemistry in coffee and know that this is true for many people. I think we need coffee because our ancestors drank it and if we don't continue on we will suffer consequences. Either that or they noticed that dementia didn't occur if they drank coffee. It's not only the caffeine, it's everything put together by nature in coffee that helps us. Man can't do that. Plus it tastes good.
