One mans treason is another mans patriotism...both are developed under the guise of over bearing pride and neither presents itself as a plausible right to offset any perceived wrong.

It is this distinction that will end our nation regardless of who is thought of as right, or wrong.

Government has too much money already.

Last thing we need is another debt ceiling increase. Been there, done that. It's time for drastic spending cuts.

Maybe Obama shouldn't spent that 2.5 trillion he got from the last debt ceiling raise.

Blaming Boehner?

WOW...confused much?

What chamber controls the purse strings?

Answer:

The House of Representatives ...or more accurately...the GOP DOMINATED House of Representitives

Article I, Section 8, Clause 1, of the U.S. Constitution: "The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States."

CONGRESS CONTROLS SPENDING

The obstructionist John Boehner is now threatening to "go over the edge" and hold America hostage again.

The debt deal that was reached between the Dems and Reps was broken by the Republicans who changed the deal after the deal was reached.

Why would anyone take the GOP seriously?

First Boehner boasted that he got everything he wanted in the last debt debacle that ended with the first Credit Downgrade in United States history...

John Boehner: “We got 98% of what we wanted.”
www.cbsnews.com...

Then the GOP went back on thier word ...and didn't honor the deal where they got "98% of what they wanted"...a deal that was so crappy that the USA got downgraded.

Honestly...why would anyone take them seriously in this next debt deal?

The GOP will either look to sabatoge the American economy leading into the election and try to spin it as Democrats fault...which will entirely backfire, or they will relent in hopes of recieving mercy from the voters in December. Personally I think Americans have had enough either way and the GOP will suffer in November.

Now the debt limit will again be an opportunity for the Tea Party to ruin the credit of the United States again..

Credit is ruined when debts exceed receipts, and debts can't be paid back. If you think that's the TEA Party's fault, and not the whole of congress, you need your head examined. You might want to do that anyway, just to be on the safe side.
