ATS version. There's a lot of threads out there on bands. Frontmen. Guitarists. Etc. Little is focused on the vocals. There's been some good ones lately. Adele. Susan Boyle. Going back...... Hell, remember Janis? Imo there was/is only one that had/has it all Aretha.

Guys? Freddie, duh.

Vocals, let's hear it. Freddie might be beaten. He couldn't scream like Steven Tyler. I don't think Aretha can be beat.

Funny you should post this at this moment. Because I am listening to Lindsey Pavao "Skinny Love" from The Voice lol. I've fallen in love with her voice.

Adele is like an angel singing, Christina Perri has a unique beautiful voice as well. But Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine is my favorite.

Here is London Wilde from Wildestarr.
We have been buddies on Myspace/Facebook for years
and often I think of her voice while writing my own songs.
Sometimes I let her look over my lyrics and such and she
changes some things around.

I also love the video. She detailed the way she made this with Photoshop.

Cedric Bixler Zavala from The Mars Volta and At The Drive-In... He's got range, power, control and above all, he's got some seriously soulful grooves.
