The most robust way is to use a custom hosts file.
I have one with 30,000+ blocked domains (all of them are either ad servers, tracking sites, or malware sites) at
Just unzip it and put it in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc overwriting the existing hosts file.
Then you need to do Start -> Run -> Services.msc and disable the service called "DNS Client".
Restart your browser and enjoy an ad-free tracking-free experience
