Exactly what is going on in jail these days?

Federal authorities said they will review their detention policies after they left a forgotten 24-year-old college student in a holding cell for five days.

Five Days?

Seven suspects were taken to county jail, and another was released, but the student from the University of California, San Diego, was somehow left behind, said Amy Roderick, a spokeswoman for the Drug Enforcement Administration.

So how did this guy survive five days in a holding cell? You won't believe it...

Roderick said the man told agents he had used a white substance he found in the cell, which tested positive for methamphetamine.

He was having his own little "Meth" party in the holding cell.

It wasn't clear if he had any access to food or water.

Who needs food and water? He was doing up all the drugs.

Wouldn't he be dead due to lack of hydration? I think there's something off about that, surely can't be true?

That's what I thought as well.

The article was unclear about food and water.

Holding cells have toilets and sinks inside of them. So I would not suspect lack of water.

man them holding cells got a toilet
with a little sink on it...

the meth amphetemine
would actually warm your
blood up and make you use
more water so you would die quicker
from thirst on it...

I also doubt some guy left him that
little bag, and he had it stowed away
