It was just a stunt.
I never really visit the site but it was a clever little prank.

After such a self-serving and distasteful stunt, they'll be lucky to get back half the viewership they had. I haven't been there in years anyway: It's so full of hoaxes, spin, speculation, and sensationalism that it barely even qualifies as entertainment. In fact I'd say it barely qualifies as a waste of time....
