Turkey forges strategic, nuclear agreements
with China

Turkey is looking for contractors for a new reactor, their 2nd.
Their first one is contracted to Russian interests (not built yet).
China may be the one, but there is other competition.
The U.S. was not mentioned
Interesting .... Turkey is a NATO member and has nuclear weapons "on the premises", but those belong to the U.S.
ANKARA — China and Turkey have signed two nuclear cooperation
agreements.
The two countries signed the agreements during a ceremony in Beijing on
April 9 headed by Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and Turkish Prime Minister
Recep Erdogan.
Officials said the accords would intensify nuclear
cooperation, particularly in the area of research and energy.
