If someone does discover a cure for cancer, does anyone honestly believe big pharma are going to cry tears of joy over it? The only tears they would be crying is because their gravy train has come to a stop and their services becoming obsolete.

A public cure for cancer would mean the death of big pharma, so it is logical that they would fight to the death to prevent that from happening any way they could. They are not the nice guys people have been programmed to believe them to be.
