This is a free online book you can read. It is a significant book in the field of UFOs. When it was first released it was meant to be a work of science fiction, but later on a group of people turned it into a religion and started calling themselves the "I Am". They are a group that worships (the claim of) beings that live in Mount Shasta. However, it is not a large movement and so far is only located around the town of Dunsmuir in northern California.
