Hi ATS, I've come across a video of a rather peculiar scene in the old french episode of "The Avengers"
The Actor Is Patrick Macnee flicking a lizard-like tongue and it does show in the original too, less than a split second.

Check it out on the original at 2:04 & let me know what you think.

What could it be? Maybe a flaw on the film? A reptilian fly swatter?
Peace

Yes possibly, but the way he looks up and the direction where it points is strange. You can clearly see it come out of his mouth too!

Looks to me like a piece of dirt on the film.

This kind of thing is so embarrassing for ATS. I mean unless you're under 16 and have never seen an old film, what is the excuse for thinking this is a 'reptilian tongue'? Tons of older movies have these little errors. I knew this would be bad when I read 'proof' in the title. At least there was a question mark.

OP, check out the movie "FREAKS" from the 1930's.... there's your aliens...

Oh and the little man on the table inviting her to be one of us, was Master from Master Blaster in Mad Max too
Nice bit of trivia for you.

It is an error in the film roll. Dirt, wear and tear etc.

At the end of the 1st youtube video you posted in the op, when the clip focuses on the closeup of the still frame at the end, you can clearly see his top lip continues "through" the so-called "tongue".

It is a film error caused by many different possibilities.

Agreed. Is there a far creepier scene from that movie? I remember a chase scene where there was some gooble gobblin.

I wish I had that many accepting friends. Or just that many friends lol. Bring me the goblet short stuff!

It's been a while since I've seen it but I think there was, in the rain, at one point.

it all goes a little loopy after it goes oO though

Haha good movie nonetheless, i say. And you're right!! Those guys were awesome. I've read up on most of them, and while sad most of their stories are, the ones you think had it the hardest, were the happiest in their situations.

Love how the irony is, the healthy people are the real freaks.

Ahhh, either way, the avengers guy being a reptile... they just don't make old tv shows like they used to make ancient movies I guess
lint, fluff and whatnot become tongues. gooble gobble indeed!!
