By The Associated Press

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- When he was shot, Trayvon Martin was not the baby-faced boy in the photo that has been on front pages across the country. And George Zimmerman wasn't the beefy-looking figure in the widely published mugshot.
Both photos are a few years old and no longer entirely accurate. Yet they may have helped shape initial public perceptions of the deadly shooting.

It's nice to hear them recognize how pictures can be used to manipulate the public's opinion. They also mention more about Trayvon that goes against the grain of him being a perfect sweet child:

A more complex portrait of the two figures has emerged since then. A photo of a beaming Zimmerman looking sharp in a jacket and tie has come out, along with a more recent picture of Martin, with gold teeth and a white sleeveless undershirt. At the same time, it was learned that Martin had been suspended from school for marijuana residue in his backpack.

It should also be noted that updated pictures of Trayvon and Zimmerman were not supplied in the article.

They're going to drag this story out as long as they possibly can for viewers. It's about drama now, not about who was in the right or wrong.

There is no single photo that sums up a complex human.

We are all different throughout each day, week, month and year.

Why don't people use their brains anymore for more than touching a screen?

Did they also fail to admit the entire story was crafted in MSNBC's white house press office?

Because we wouldn't want anyone to know Hillary has broken away from Obama and Obama has a no confidence vote among the house?

Hmm....seems theres a dozen other reasons to keep people distracted, but Im siding with nat defense in speaking about those.
