This just started making the rounds yesterday. I'm not sure if it's creative editing or not as it's shown up on dozens of channels, some with full statement some without. It certainly does sound like he almost said it to me, but I am an evil liberal.

I think he was about to say nincompoop.

I seriously doubt it. How many times have you heard the phrase "Government n-word"? He did start to say something and then clearly changed his mind, fumbled and recovered, but I doubt anyone who uses that word would be so careless as to slip up in front of a podium...

I think the charge is ridiculous. And I'm an Obama supporter.

I also don't think he was about to say the n-word...but I can't figure out what he was going to say.

Candidates usually give the same speeches over and over...I wonder if anyone can find the same segment of a different speech.

Oh, trust me. I don't expect too much of him. I think he's slightly insane and a presidency of his would turn our country into a Theocracy... But that's beside the point.

There seems to be a lot of racially charged news stories lately. I wonder why popular figureheads and reporters are pressing this so much, its almost like they're trying to provide fuel for a race war. I hope people can see through this blatant ignorance and not let it get to their heads.

See here's the thing, if he had just messed up he would have gone back and repeated himself. He didn't, he just started a whole new sentence. I think it was a bit of a Freudian slip.

Well, to be fair he was speaking for about 30 minutes at that point, but we are also talking about the guy who said he was talking about "Blah" people a few months ago.

Well hard to tell... and if I wasn't already thinking the N-Word, I may not have heard it almost said..

That said, that is what it sounded like he was about to say.

We'll never know I guess.

Maybe he jokes about him to his right-wing, religious buddies?

I think you might want to re-read what I said. You are confused. You cannot prove he didn't intend to say it, I cannot prove he did intend to say it. I can merely say what I think and that is my right, therefore we agree to disagree.

I'm saying anything can't be proved. I don't agree with you that we don't agree on that!

I highly doubt he was about to say anything of the kind, regardless of whether he has racist tendencies or not. Educated racists don't use that word, even in private. They can communicate their feelings on race without succumbing to slang and common filth. That word is only used by the uneducated trash racists of America, who learned it from their hillbilly parents.
