More mysterious bangs, this time in the Netherlands. Residents of the small town Thorn are hearing mysterious bangs and the city council has no clue where they are coming from. They appear day and night.
Now they've hired audio-specialists and ordered them to find out where these sounds come from.
This was reported today by the local media.
www.l1.nl...
Use Google Translate to read it.

It seems it is a global phenomena. I wonder what the origin of these sounds are. Earlier reports of this were dismissed as sonic booms caused by Belgian Jet-fighters.

The theory that makes most sense to me is the rocks cracking under ground through lack of water - leading, eventually, to subduction. If this is correct, i would be worried about hearing the sounds in the Netherlands if i was anywhere near any dykes!

I still think thats its underground tunneling for the rich to keep on living for whatever it is thats big to come. Think about it its everywhere and no one seems to know anything sure. The government knows everything but act stupid i just feel sorry for the workers that were promised a spot down there for their silence and dont get crap but left behind. Personally I dont care if the world ends ive had my fun lol.

Ha, finally validation of some sort....

I posted a few times about these sounds.

I live in the Netherlands and this is the second day on a row that we experience an unknown sound from the air (?). Like I posted before we hear different kind of sounds. They come and go. But now it's making me uncomfortable for it keeps on going. It sounds like an mixture of an airplane flying low, rumbling, humming. If it were airplanes, than all the airplanes in the world flew over these last two days. Its going on day and night. We tried to capture it, but our phones didn't do the job right. There is nothing to see in the sky. It sounds a few minutes, the pauses in between are taking more time than the sounds itself. Between 5 minutes to an hour. The night before last, when we ( Me, my son, two sisters and a friend) thought it was over, it was just to give way to a different kind of sound; like electrical sparks, for like ten minutes. After this the low rumbling continued. While I'm typing this I can still hear it once in a while. I know a lot of people are hearing these sounds. But do they also experience them for long periods of time?

I didn't post this looking for validation though. We live in a small village. Dutch people are very down to earth and don't succumb easily to hysteria. We asked people at the other side of the village, and they can hear it too. People just shake their head and avoid the topic or say things like.."we can expect all sort of weird stuff this year"..... or.... "I really don't want to know what it means"... and stuff like that. My mother who works in an adjoining city, saw two guards looking up to the sky and heard them asking each other about the sound. So it's not just us. We have been waiting to hear about it on the news.. but nothing yet. I am curious though.. will they broadcast it or keep silent.

The first video is definitely fake, the second is dubious too.
They both don't sound like that what witnesses are describing.

Update:

According to the Dutch local media they have found the source of the mysterious bangs.
Translated Report
www.l1.nl...

They say it was natural gas that leaked into a (natural gas driven) heater-kettle and exploded when the heater switched on. Sounds very far fetched to me, the owner should have noticed that.
