Sugarcookie....nice, and different...I don't know why, but her voice reminds me of Sinead O'Connor....whose music I love.

This is one of my all time favorites. No matter what you think of Sinead, this is so beautiful. One of those songs that I can feel in my soul. I start crying every time i hear it ....and you can see such emotion in her eyes, like the pain of everyone who has ever had their heart broken....

Just a few of my favorites....I like such a wide variety of mucic, old and new, it's hard to pick which ones to post.....so here are some. I'm interested in what everyone else listens to!

Before I post my favs, I want to share a story of a band from Iraq I love. The first video is of when they first came to the U.S., and got to meet Metallica backstage. James H gave Tony (the lead guitarist an autographed guitar....the look on his face is PRICELESS!! Here's the video

and here's a video about their story....this is part one....you can watch the whole series on youtube. The interviewer had to wear a bullet proof vest to go interview them because the war was on....it's very interesting!

Oh....just FYI...the image of Satan chopping off the guys head is a joke because they were accused of being Satanists for playing metal...

When they first started playing, they had death threats from Islamist militants many times in Iraq because they said they worshipped Satan (they DON'T)l....they went through literal hell for playing metal, but never gave up and finally left....and are now in Brooklyn LOL! They formed when Saddam was in power, and they were allowed to have concerts ONLY if they made the lyrics of their songs PRAISE Saddam...so they did, just so they could play....and they were forbidden to "head bang" because "it resembeled the way Jews nod their heads during prayer" haha!....It was CRAZY!
