I have to comment, that cut bar, is such a clean cut, not even scratch marks on the cut surface from the cutting process, and then theres the alleged "tungsten" nuggets, they look as if they've been pressed in after it was cut, rather than moulded in when it was cast.

Not saying it is, just thats how it looks to me.

gold is super soft, but even to cut through that much you would need an industrial metal cutter anyway and they can pretty much chop through any metal a few inches thick.

You make a good point. The hardest metal to cut is tungsten. If they didn't know what was in the bar they might have gone through some blades, but they must have started with diamond tipped blades, or at least tungsten carbide.

Not that this adds up to much.

Just when you have had enough of bank scandals and bank runs on money. This just sunk the world's economy and will rock the world. China may hold all the Gold right now, but 40% could prove to be just tungsten that's right. So watch out when you buy shares of rare metals and inspect all shipments and that's every ounce.

You should find even in your own stash of gold tungsten.

China ICBC doped tungsten or iridium bullion There are micro-Bo said China ICBC sold adulterated gold, and also questioned the domestic market, 40% of the gold bullion adulterated with iridium or tungsten. Later ICBC said that net transfer rumor, but still people can not dispel doubts.

I seem to remember the episode a couple of years ago, involved shennanigans on the chinese side.
The gold was reprocessed in china, to assure quality, but some time between reproccessing and arrival at its final destination, gold covered ingots of tungsten were somehow added? And dont forget people, who the largest proccesor of tungsten is, CHINA.
