A truth deep in the core
Knowing worship is not needed
You are loved and not unheeded

You are all the same
Differences in belief are not to blame
Servitude is not required
Superiority is not admired

Live your life and learn
No you will not burn
Life is an experience good or bad
Bowing to the king is just a fad

Don't forget the truth and you can depart
The answer is in your heart
Every person knows it within
If you realize it share it with your kin

The answer is not meant for the profane
When you realize you will know we can attain
Only the true of heart can see
Leads you to the truth of the honey bee

Twas both...it answers one half of the riddle indeed. The part working against the collective consciousness is necessary for the collective to come to realization. If they didn't exist the collective consciousness would not exist. Isn't it so? Both sides are right and both sides help the final product as both sides allow for the realization. In the equation X * Y = Z... X can't = Z...it needs Y to be complete. Neither is superior, rather both are required for understanding. (Simple example meant to explain a thought, don't get advanced in explaining how it can work without Y as that's not the point...1*x will = z)
