Twas both...it answers one half of the riddle indeed. The part working against the collective consciousness is necessary for the collective to come to
realization. If they didn't exist the collective consciousness would not exist. Isn't it so? Both sides are right and both sides help the final
product as both sides allow for the realization. In the equation X * Y = Z... X can't = Z...it needs Y to be complete. Neither is superior, rather
both are required for understanding. (Simple example meant to explain a thought, don't get advanced in explaining how it can work without Y as that's
not the point...1*x will = z)
