Radio Campaign Next Step Against Rush Limbaugh

www.washingtontimes.com

A Premiere Radio Networks spokeswoman said Media Matters
has gone beyond criticism of Limbaughs words to an attempt
to - silence - him and intimidate advertisers.

It's essentially a call for censorship masquerading as high-
minded indignation.

A few of Rush Limbaughs advertisers have stepped
forward and publicly supported Rush Limbaugh.
Bill O'Reilly has labeled the attack on Rush as
- unamerican -.

I don't listen to Rush, never will, but I defend his right to say stupid crap. If people don't like what he has to say then don't listen to him. It's that effin' simple.

All I got to say really is that Limbaugh deserves every piece of excrement that lands on him.
He is a foul, terrible excuse for a human.
You make your bed, someday you may have to lie in it.

I never thought Limbaugh was anything more than a wind bag.
Now I see he is a windbag for the ptb.
All of this distraction on a non issue must get Limbaugh alot of points for being the ptb patsy on this distraction.
As always, Limbaugh is a tool.

Even Jones is supporting Limpbaugh's right to free speech
Jones said he will be buying ad time for one of the products he is involved with on his own show to help support Limbaugh
to make a point.

Thing is as usual problem reaction solution

Limpbaugh is why we aren't allowed to have free speech

If they went after someone in the alt media instead of Mr Bazillion dollar contract
then there would be a WAY huge outcry from the truth movement
This way they figure truthers will jump on the band wagon just because they think Limpy is a dink.

Then tomorrow it will be truthers

That's just it.

Media Matters doesn't really care what Rush Limbaugh said.
It's essentially a call for censorship masquerading as high-minded indignation.

Bill Maher has said worse on HBO. They don't care.

I trust Media Matters as much as I trust the CIA.

I support Rush on this one.

Someone needs to have the juevos to verbally smack Americans in the brain, and that man is Rush.

I used to feel as most of you feel, self righteous windbag, stupid hardcore republican, etc. After taking the time over several months to actually listen to what Limbaugh is saying, well, the man is right about an awful lot. Now, I know politics is not a right and wrong thing because we all have our own ideals, however, any of you who enjoy freedom of speech and limitation of government censorship should be on the side of the EIB network.

GO TEAM LIMBAUGH.

Freedom of speech is about the things that you don't like to hear. No one should support pulling the plug on a talk radio show because the host says something that offends them. The market takes care of hosts, lose your ratings and you're gone.

Rush is one of many arrogant bomb throwing hosts that have the ability to offend many in a short amount of time. But, I wouldn't want him shut down because of his stupid opinions anymore than I would want Maher pulled off of HBO because of his.

Media Matters has done some - selective - editing on Bill O'Reilly.

Removing the first 2 words, playing the rest of the statement and then running with

it. Of course, MSNBC receives their marching orders from Media Matters and

gives the falsehood a way to spread.

That is exactly why Media Matters will fail.

This is all just bad advertising for Media Matters. They have - zero - credibility.

I defend Rush's right to vomit whatever nonsense he chooses.

I also defend the right of opposing voices to weaken him.
You are saying a group is trying to silence Rush therefore, they must be silenced.

They have every right to speak their mind, and even go on a full campaign against the idiot. If they slander him, they will be held accountable of course, but otherwise...you cannot silence free speech...you can only counter it

Don't forget to - Seek the Truth - along the way.

--- It's essentially a call for censorship masquerading as high-minded indignation. ---

When the American people hear that simple truth, they recognize it immediately.

Yep, Rush has been a mysoginist for decades now. he is being called out on it and highlighted.

its essentially a company opposed to Rush that is exercising their free speech in order to have people do as they would like...in this case, turn the channel.
This is their first amendment right to do so.

Rush spends all day, everyday telling people to ignore liberal media
now liberal media is telling people to ignore rush.

boo-flippin-hoo. come to find out, the first amendment applies to everyone.
censor that.

And 63 million voters can't be wrong

Obama/Biden 2012

(still going to go with large numbers = truth?)

I see you are also going with large numbers.

Obamas approval rating is down to 41% and falling. It will fall further when people

find out he is giving the Muslim Brotherhood $1.5 Billion US taxpayer dollars.

------
63 million? not anymore.

It's obviously not that simple. If the President tell the country you're a terrorist and you're trying to kill children, expect someone to beat the # out of you.

Words have real-world consequences... sometimes..

Rush shouldn't be locked up for saying stupid #, but guess what, people protesting him and trying to shut him down are ALSO using their freedom of speech to do it.

And they are allowed to protest and boycott him and his advertisers all they want, but to have Rush silenced is wrong and not the American way. So it is that simple.
