There is another case on the link I find even stranger
An incident took place in Tokyo, Japan during the early 1990s: a man arrived on a flight with a passport from a non-existent country. LINK

My other issues have involved me percieving things differently to others, my mate was screaming at me once to turn hia stereo off as if to be shouting over the music. I couldn't hear it and it appeared to be off even though I was right next to it. So I pressed the standby button and.it came on really loud yet he couldnt hear it and was happy this started a back and forth till i had to leave because i was freaked. I came back.later and we were back to normal.

Once a civilization realizes that their simulated universe is self aware, it leads them to question whether they, themselves, are a simulation.

I know I'm months behind, but I just couldn't help asking anyway. We haven't created self-aware simulations yet, but we are already asking this question? If we were in fact a simulation, would that question actually be more pertinent in the minds of our creators right now instead of us?
