On the TSA: The staggering cost, the invasion of privacy and the groping (infographic)

Hi guys.

I know a lot of people here are no fans of the TSA and their policies. (i'm one of those people)

I came across a nice infographic that pretty much lays it all out.

I haven´t got a whole lot to add, this one pretty much sums it up.



Some fun facts from the infographic:

- TSA gets 900 complaints a MONTH
- spends an average of 6 MILLION dollars to find one gun on a passenger. (no guns that were found belonged to a suspected terrorist)
- the chance of dying from a terrorist attack is 1 in 30 million, the chance of getting cancer from a SINGLE TSA scan is the same. (i'll go with the terrorists every single time)
- budget for the TSA 7.6 BILLION. budget for research and development on green energy: 3.2 BILLION.

well just look at the list yourself.

the TSA is becoming more and more of a joke every single day.

recently it was shown here how easy it was to beat the TSA scanners.
recently it was also shown how TSA agents made a woman walk through a scanner THREE times because she was hot.

man i'm going to stop now.

Seems to be a fair and factual representation. They were even kind to the TSA in not mentioning the colostomy bags and diaper searches.

Man the more i'm starting to look at this infographic the madder i'm becoming.

What an epic waste of money.

and imho you're right about the 'objective' way the TSA is portrayed here.
