Obama to speak during Super Tuesday

www.cnn.com

President Barack Obama will hold a news conference Tuesday shining a light on his administration for a moment on a day the nation will mostly be focused on the Republican Party and Super Tuesday.

Obama will address the media Tuesday afternoon, his first formal news conference since last year, the White House said.

Is he trying to thumb his nose at the republicans, or is it just coincidence that he picked super tuesday as the day to have his first news conference of the year. Im sure this is at least an attempt to suck some of the attention away from the republicans and put the spotlight on him. Because I highly doubt that out of all the days he could've picked, he picked tomorrow by accident.

Instead of campaigning this jerk should concentrate on his freaking job.

Its no coincidence. The guy is a smug jerk.

His intentions are fairly obvious.

I, for one, pay him little mind. The man does little more than talk and play the role of a red herring while Congress runs the train on some hair-brained legislation that will be automatically signed into effect by said red herring.

It's like a fungus... or a weed - cutting the top (most visible part) off will not really do much to resolve the problem.

Why do you expect Obama to be the only president in history seeking re-election who doesn't actually bother campaigning?

Yeah sure it's deliberate - and why not??

How does this constitute news? Its the time of year when the party which opposes Obamas party, is going to be making itself front and centre of the show. It is only normal and sensible to get all the political posturing and lying out of the way early.Obama has timed this so that U.S. citizens can watch all the theatre at once and then concentrate on fooling themselves that thier votes will mean a damn thing, come the election of yet another idiot puppet. Hope to God you dont get another G.W. Bush, thats about all you have going for you right now!

Hell its the same way here in Britain! NONE of us voted for a coallition government! And look what we got! All we ever get to do, either side of this pond, is choose who screws us next. We do not even get to chose what impliment they do it with!
