i know the recording isn't the best. It's from years ago. I want to record it again, now that i know how to mix and record now.

I'm also a recording artist/song writer and this is what i would change/improve on:

1. Some of the lyrics. I'm not saying they're bad but i'm not convinced that you believe what you're singing. As a listener i want to think to myself while i hear this "sh*t man he's right, livin aint easy."

2. More instruments. Now that you know how to record and mix make it ballsier.

3. No foot taps man. No offense but foot taps are a little cheesy, to me at least.

those are just a few things.

yeah..there a lot of things i would change. We drank a half gallon of captain morgans and made that song in a time spand of an hour. inlcuding time to hit record, forgot to wear headphones so you can hear the metronome. and the percussion was me hitting the guitar, lol. It was a drunken mess. It was basically a free style. didnt plan any of it. haha

well in that case it's grammy worthy.

if you would like more advice though im usually near a computer. i have some knowledge on mixing and recording but im more useful on the instruments
