By the time they develop better ones? They'll probably have made medical advancements that allow the use of ones own legs again.

This is fascinating technology and I am happy to see many who once couldnt enjoy life getting the chance to do so more. This is why I like the tree of knowledge influence the weapons , not so much

That is a sad but true statement kind of, however since these are currently FDA approved and available, I think they will suffice for a few years. I would like to think in the near future we can either grow new nerves, spines or limbs, or like Star Trek did with Wharf, grow a spine synthetically, then surgically implant it. Even if something revolutionary comes up, it will take years to be approved for the public, and then probably be hella spendy.
