I see some shadows there on the straircase and in front of the stair case but I can't make out what they could be. I think you might have something there, just hard for me to see exactly what.

When reviewing the EXIF metadata on this original photo, this photo has been processed/edited.

The op photo is taken through a mirror.
As you can see in this pic the wall is stained.
Whats the deal with the mirror? Is the mirror haunted?
Notice the "ghost" is about the same position but in front of
the stairs. And the women in front of the mirror dont have reflections

Can you be more specific? The photo was taken from the cell phone, emailed to me and put into iphoto. I made no adjustments to the original just the contrast and temperature to the zooms. I am interested in what you found to be alters in the original. Please give details to back this up.
Do you think this could have been caused when I changed the image from a .png file to a .jpg file?

not behind them where you would expect.?

Thank you for posting the interesting picture ..I do see a shadow on the staircase i just cant makeout what it is ..Id love to visit Myrtles Planation someday I've seen a few shows on TV about this place and i have to agree this Planation is very haunted id sent a copy of this pic to the plantation and see what they have to say and if anyone else has seen this possible entity ..S&F

To be fair to the OP, I can clearly make out what looks like a shirtless man in the vicinity of the staircase but only in the enhanced pic. In the original it just looks like pixelation.

I'm not saying it IS a ghost, but that's the shape I see.

I also do not see anything other than pixelation in the original.
But when you played with the contrast, it appears to be a shirtless man looking at the camera with a bald head.
But myself, I don't think it's really anything but a trick of the light/shadows.

Your ghost looks like morrissey,yep definetely morrissey half way through ripping his shirt off!even has his haircut.

OP, I think you may be mistaking some peoples humor and sarcasm for legitimate replies (for example, the pinhead cenobite comment, it's a movie reference)


I see what you see, sure. It's a phenomenon called Pareidolia, or seeing faces/objects in clouds, leaf clusters, wood grain, tile, etc. I can go into my bathroom and find a thousand faces on the tiles in there. It's a dirty wall photographed with a low res cell phone camera, so there are bound to be shapes that could be perceived as something significant. The Myrtles is supposed to be haunted, but not every instance of this phenomenon means something.
