webkit2webprocess.exe - why does it keep popping up?

i've googled it and cant really find any help, at least none that i can understand.

this damn box keeps popping up saying webkit2webprocess.exe cant access server or some crap.

Its spyware download spybot search and destroy and run it.

In all 12,200 Google results you can't find a single answer?

It's an Apple problem. From what I've read it's affecting Safari on Windows.

If that conflicts/isn't your OS then yes run Anti Malware software right now!

From a different computer get the Microsoft Standalone Security Sweeper (say that 10x fast ) and scan your system. It may or may not fix that problem, but its free and I highly recommend it.

well i just downloaded and ran spybot and it found a bunch of #.

but when i hit the fix button it said i need to be an administrator.

so i looked in "help' and it only said what to do in vista, i'm running safari, so it dosent adress any other operating sys?????

what a suprise, my question is never answered in the FAQ's.

It appears to be a part of safari.

Safari is not an operating system. From what I can tell you have Vista and should follow the instructions given in the help section. You may need to extrapolate some of the Help information from IE to Safari, but in general it is all about the same.

Edit to add: If you are attempting to switch to an Administrator account this can be done by either; going to the Windows icon (place where you got to 'Shut down') and select "Log-off account"/"Switch account", or by going to the Windows icon and at hte very top right of that newly opened menu clicking on the large picture you have selected to represent you. Here you will have the option to switch and manage accounts.

in order to use spybot s&d you have to right click the icon & "run as administrator" in vista & windows 7
even though you may be using an admin account, you will still need to 'run as admin'

You need to open Spybot as Administrator, then it will fix your problem.
