It's like when they tested ways to beat a speed camera, if they had found something that worked, they are not going to show it!
hate to point this out but they already did show this on top gear, if you go like 180+, at the time, it was too much for the laser to flash twice. I believe it was fixed in newer versions of camera's. mythbusters are like the corporate koolaid version of truth anyway, I still don't buy the electrogravitic experiment they did.
