System Specs:
i5 2500k 3.3 ghz (3.7ghz turbo boost)
MSI P67 Mobo
GeForce 570 GTX 1.2
Antec 650w PSU

Ok so I cannot get the Turbo Boost to work on my i5 2500k.. In CPU-Z it confirms this as my frequency is stuck at just under 3.3 with a 33x multiplier and my FSB is 99.8 (which I thought strange as it should be 100mhz)..

Even on heavy load applications the core frequency doesn't shift.. It's stuck at 3.29ghz

The MSI mobo has click bios and yes Turbo Boost is enabled.... Any help would be appreciated.

Check the version of the bios on the mobo.
See if there is an update for it.
There could be a fix for that issue.

Also check the intel site.
There is a gadget for monitoring the turbo boost.

Check you temps to see that you aren't running too hot.

And try running alot of heavy apps. See if it doesn't boost up some.

Remember it's a boost. Not a true overclocking. So the boost may only kick in when needed.

I can't believe they brought that back i thought the turbo boost was just one of those bad late 80's ideas

Haha I figured it out......

I feel dumb now but for anyone else having this problem.... What I did was enable C states...

Thanks for the help though.. Still feel stupid...

On a side note I got it to work with an overclock....

Running at 4.4 ghz 59c (with a massive cooling system for those that want to try this) under a load after an hour of prime 95... 1.6ghz idle...

Runs nice and stable.
