Is this an independent blog? Do you have metrics turned on that might show if you've had an uptick in interest?

I can tell you why...

They are lost ones looking for culture. Why? Because they lack a culture. So they create a culture by grabbing together bits and pieces of here and there, but usually, the appearance of the created culture is along the lines of which ideology they took the most from / which ideology resonates the most with them.

Why Templar Knights then?

There is a growing number of Western countries in which Muslims and Islam are demonized through the media. Why? Look no further than the owners of the media and their agenda.

This creates a demon or enemy if you will, in the eyes of the "templar-to-be". An enemy or demon is always accompanied by fear. To get rid of this fear these "templars-to-be" turn to create something to fight this fear. So they start looking for information and end up at the Crusades; the battle between Christianity and Islam. They pick a side(Templars obviously) and ta-daaa, you have a growing number of "Templar knights" - the numbers probably match the amount of demonizing done in the media in some way.

Can you send me a private message with your blog. I'm currently developing a Wikibook Remembering the Templars if you have good content you can contribute or provide a compatible license to your content.

One topic that I'm interested in exploring is the relation between the Templars and the Massons...
Everyone is welcome to contribute...

I would think it's much more possible that the templars kept an existence and maintain one to this day, than the fabled Illuminati that everyone keeps blaming all their problems on. The templars were around a long time and they were very powerful. Maybe we are entering into a new enlightenment era? One could only hope.

Hi network dude,

I am making my way through these posts and wanted to ask you while I remember,

You make it pretty clear that you think that it is likely that the Templars are still around spending that treasure. But are you saying that this 'new era of enlightenment' that we may be entering in to is going to somehow be at the hands or by the cause of the Templars? I am pretty sure I am reading that right.

So what are the Templars going to bring to the table to enlighten us all? Baphomet? Wisdom from the 'east' in the form of more borrowed mathematics and architecture?

Thanks in advance.

X.

Does batman carry condoms in his utility belt?

Take a small peek at Iran for example.

They are having a field day with this West vs. Iran ( Christianity vs. Islam ). I saw a video of some Islamonutjobs burning obelisks in Iran a couple moths ago. Why? Because it's illuminati-bla-bla-bla.

And worse yet, the reverse is also happening in the West. Disenchanted youth that have knowledge about and believe to some extent in, freemason/illuminati conspiracies are on the rise in big cities. It's turning into a "street religion". It's trickling down to the young ones (-15) on a big scale through social media. The effects of this I've yet to see on such a big scale, I have a few ideas/conclusions but I'm holding on to those for now. One of these ideas I can share; there are political/religious groups trying to scoop up these disenchanted youth for their own agendas, using religion as a hook.

It gets worse ( yes it does ):

These groups will only grow larger as they fuel each others hatred online.

Just curious, but what's your search method? You mentioned particularly in blogs...

The use of the word "Templar" in books is actually down significantly from its high in the late 1800s...

source

(though I do agree it's on the rise since around 1987... I guess I can't blame Dan Brown for that one...)

I am going to post the whole video that is linked in the OP so as to heighten the 'Templar Porn' effect that I think the OP is getting at. If that is what you are getting at Eidolon23, then I am hip to what you are laying down,

I went ahead and read through the quotes. These are not from 13 year old children. These are from grown men that should know better.

"I assume your either a white supremacist or neo Nazi""

"Nowadays a genocide of the white europeans dna is in the process."

"have no fear son europe is wakeing up"

"and thats how genocides are started"

'"Reconquista of the European soil must begin."

I think that all little boys are naturally inclined toward 'knighthood'. What I think we are seeing here is a formal twisting of that impulse in to a dangerous meme that stimulates a man's 'God and Country' switch; in a bad way.

What a convenient way to deliver a giant bolus of overweening religiously charged nationalism.

They* were doing the same thing with the 300 Spartan movie.

OP, you are on to something huge here. Why are more people not commenting on the context of the OP and why are they trying to crawl up inside your 'metrics'?

Joshua Norton, you are a Discordian saint. You are the only person in history to have made insanity work for themselves. I mean no disrespect, Great One, but how can that be?

I see your Google Ngram,

And I raise you an Amazon search.

Templar

You can't swing a dead cat in this town without striking several coterie of Templarae.

And why Dan Brown? why not just go all the way to Baigent, Lincoln and Leigh?

Indeed...as the Buddha said "We are what we think and with our thoughts we create our world"

I think South Park covered this idea best in their Imaginationland episodes, with people like Jesus, Krishna, Wonder Woman, and Santa Claus inhabiting the place.

It makes sense though, the more belief people put into a thought form the more power it holds almost to the point of being an actual living "god" or "entity" etc.

Yeah, here is some more Templar Porn within the context of the OP,

This one is probably as bad as it gets. I have been stimulated by images such as these since I was a very young man. Of course, I know better than to fall for that now, so it is just a humorous memory. but if I am not careful and stare too long...

Here is another,

This one is obviously a modern reproduction and reminds me of a lot of contemporary pop Christian art that can be seen in Christian bookstores and websites.

What a slick and disgusting segue in to introducing the concept of religious violence and blind nationalism to young men. And old.

I get what you are saying, OP. I hope.

X.

Here, is this what you mean, Eidolon23?

The iconic "knight in shining armor" definitely holds a place of importance in the pantheon of these egregores just due to the sheer propaganda power of it all. If I remember right even Hitler had a propaganda poster with him all decked out in steel armor holding a flag. Such powerful imagery is hard to fight off if one isn't aware of the psychology of propaganda or has knowledge of these "thought-forms".

Maybe the recent influx is due to them trying to get that idea of "righteous violence" back into our subconscious...after dealing with war for nearly 10 years many people are sick of even the idea of another conflict, but as we all know conflict is a booming business so they gotta get those emotions of zealotry revamped somehow.

I actually kinda hate to do this. but we have come so far and well,

had to take it down, too disturbing.

This needs to be nipped in the bud. By pointing out what this OP points out and by posting these silly pictures.

Who wants to be a Templar now?

Anyone?

X.

Holy F S, OP, did you know that white supremacists seem to have picked up Jung's work on Germany and Wotanism and they are using it for their own devices? Seems like it to me as it makes it hard to find a good place to post from.

This can be checked out,

Yeah Hitler kinda sucks all the life of knighthood now with all of us knowing what kinda person he really was.

In 4:50-5:16 of this video

youtu.be...

Hitler talks of how the "Party" will basically be looked to for all teachings and be a "Holy Order".

With all this knighthood imagery he was pushing and the whole Wotan thing my opinion of "Templary" or w/e you wanna call it is on par with my opinion of Syphilis.

Gosh, all those years of collecting Dark Knight comics and it never occurred to me to think about.
Now I'll *NEVER* be able to not think about it. I owe you one

Do you think that people don't have a right to hate something that is absolutely appalling to them?

X - why do you think that nationalism is bad? Most of the great things done have been done by nationalistic states with open trade and trade related genetic swapping.
