Business daily Kommersant cites source close to Russia's Rosoboronexport state arms trader, that $550-million deal envisages delivery of 36 Yak-130 aircraft.

Really no worse than US arming Saudi Arabia with combat jets... Even though the 9/11 Hijackers came from S.A
Not need to blame government for a actions of a few right?

Ummm its not supersonic its SUBSONIC. This is more of a trainer jet that can be armed versus a full blown fighter jet. That being said, its still more than enough firepower for Assad to kill his citizens with.

the subsonic one you speak of is the one in the russian training video lmao
the ones they give to syria WILL be supersonic
you cant go subsonic on battlefield anymore that is suicide to say the least
naturally over the years fighter jets have been made to Match another in combat and it continues today
dont believe what your goverments propaganda peddles you
your jets and their jets will suffer mutual destruction
no one has upper hand anymore
everyone has stealth now so thats out the window
everyone got tactical missles too

call me cynical but i want to someday see russian/china/korea/american combat jus so i can walk up to the
"mutual losers"
and say "told ya so!!"

Again, these are not supersonic aircraft. THEY DO NOT HAVE A SUPERSONIC VERSION-ITS A TRAINING AIRCRAFT. READ THE SPECS ON IT.

www.israelhayom.com...

"It's an expensive order and while these jet trainers may be good for specific missions ... they are no substitute for a supersonic [fighter] jet," he said.
