Underground Bunkers

Due to an awoken interest of 2012, I was just wondering if anyone here on ATS new about underground bunker sites that are being constructed in the world. I thought it is pretty interesting, I am not saying that everything in 2012 is actually going to happen, I just wanted to know where these bunkers are. I just looked up the Svalbard Global Seed Vault and it seems weird why they have been collecting all of these specimens and seeds throughout the years. I guess I might be blinded by what the MSM has been portraying in the media, feeding the public with distractions from an unknown incoming threat.

Does anyone have any more information on these bunkers? Seems like a cool but crazy concept haha. I want 2012 to be the best year of my life!

Best advice i can think of is.......click the "search" button, and type in "secret underground bunkers".

There have been thousands of threads covering this, but you do have to "search" for them

All I know is that by the way things are going lately I wish I had the money to invest in one. For all our sakes I hope it never comes to that.

Russia is building 5000 more bomb shelters in Moscow I think they are trying to get done some time soon. Hope that helps

My underground bunker is my basement. We've got cereal down there. Hopefully I can live off those couple boxes for a year or two.

But an American company that specialises in building bunkers recently (2010 i think )went on the record detailing their business, methods, prices, services ect ect
however finished off his statement with But we can't take on anymore projects until 2012 ( if my memory serves me right )as we have too many projects currently for the US gov
I'll have a snoop later and see if I can find the source

Just the other day, my interest was sparked again on this subject and I found many realtor's online that specialize in "survival" - Survival Realty

I spent an hour looking through the homes for sale that were deemed "good" for when the SHTF. I was amazed as I had no idea there was a whole market out there for survival bunkers.

Seed vaults is an old idea. They go back to ancient times when people made special jars that held seeds through the winter. The seeds were protected from water damage, insects, and rodents. More sophisticated ones exist today and they are used by ALL seed companies to protect their genetic collections that they use to develop better seeds for varying conditions. Some seed vaults are owned by governments, too.

Russia won't start construction of the bunkers till this year despite all of the threads claiming they were meant for this year. Check what is happening and see that all of the old threads were wrong.

Hey does anyone have a list of any underground bunkers or limestone mines type areas in New York, PA, New Jersey, etc? I'm shooting a movie and curious if anyone knows of any or has the names of any that I can look up?
