So I'm fairly trapped in the house due to the ice storm last night. Somehow I got caught up watching Ax Men today.
Surely this show is not for real?
It's like just a bunch of wanna be jocks showing off for the camera.
Look ma, I'm gonna be on national TV!....
Where the hell is OSHA?
Driving and crashing boats like idiots, showing off.
the logging parts display an incredible amount of 'what not to do when logging'. totally unsafe, stupid decisions.
Somebody is gonna get killed just for entertainment purposes.

Welcome to a look at this countries tree farms and their employees. Ironic they do not show the choppers spraying 2,4-D and a host of other toxins over the clear cut, and anybody within 20-50 miles down wind. Very real portrayal of the Jamokes running the logging shows around the country and just how F/Ued the timber industry is.

yes, I do not agree with cutting slow growth timber. there isn't much left.
mankind is destroying itself little by little.
thinning is one thing, but total annihilation is another. these guys are just awful, clear cutting and cut throat.
and maybe killing themselves in the process.
I just can't believe how unsafe they are, all they care about is the almighty dollar. to hell with safety and life.

the lumber industry is full of monsters
that not only doesn't care about wiping out entire tribes
so as to cut down entire forests

but have attacked [via the police] children north of the border as well

remember those kids that chained themselves to trees so they wouldn't be cut, and police officers walking up to them and spraying pepper spray [from less than an inch] right into their eyes?

torturing children live and in color

where was the outrage?

had i been one of those kids parents
i would have hunted down and killed those cops
and left them with an ax buried in their heads

yes, it's just horrible. I can't see that show going very far.
Too much dirty laundry, too much already know and in the open.
Poor Mother Earth.
mankind is slowly destroying it's own habitat.
I remember watching the movie medicine man a long time ago. made me cry.
