i heard as much as 50 YEARS for being a 1337 hax0r. if the government had something to gain from sending rapists/murders to longer jail time they'd be doing it. instead. they're trying to push this internet control bill, so what do they do? fake an attack on their own computer system and then arrest Schmitz and have him take the fall. it's quite brilliant. like pieces on a chess board.

Criticize Anonymous all you want, but they are the only entity actually doing something that could really make a difference to weather laws like sopa and pipa or ACTA get passed.

Well everyone just to clairfy that anonymous is not a group nor and entity it is an idea and if you are willing to fight for your freedom and your rights then do some research on anonymous and look into irc chats and yes they ''Anonymous" did mass DDos(if you dont know what that is google it) attack websites in retalliation to megaupload being seized by the americian government. No one ever goes to those sites anyways... TPTB prob put up a landing page with a hidden icon to log in so they can blame this on Anonymous AKA um... themselves...
Duh...

I'm sure if you dig deep enough you can find a source that will tell you those companies were warned in advance of the sites being shut down for awhile...

These days it's hard to see the line unless you squint real hard...
