John McCain’s endorsement of Mitt Romney backfired with His own words !!

At an event in South Carolina Thursday, the Arizona senator managed to confuse the candidate he was supporting with Democratic President Barack Obama.

“I am confident with the leadership and backing of the American people, President Obama will turn this country around,” McCain told the Charleston crowd before Romney and South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley both stepped in to remind him who he was campaigning for.

“Excuse me. President Romney. President Romney,” McCain said, correcting himself. “President Romney will turn this around.”

Is the senator losing his mind

Ah ha ha, he's thinking " rObama"

I can't see how people could applaud someone that was behind the 2012 NDAA.

Absolutely priceless!
I can just imagine Sigmund Freud in his grave, rubbing his hands while smirking knowingly.

One of my favorite comments on this article:

"So, the guy who failed to energize the lunatic right-wing base in 2008 is endorsing the guy who is failing to energize the lunatic right-wing base in 2012? Isn't that the real story here?"

The guy should be in a loony bin, not running for president or be in the senate.

People in Arizona are retarded for electing him.

The guy was kept 2 years in solitary confinement in Vietnam, nobody comes out of there sane... McCain has shown it again and again.

The phrase "lunatic right wing" is what characterizes this as a partisan hack hit piece op-ed. Sorry but as soon as they say the right wing is lunatic, I guess it opens things up to call the left wing names too.

I think it was just a mistake. Sometimes that happens, like typos on a forum. He also said we need to repeal Obamacare. Does he mean it? Who knows.
I can't help but wonder why his mistake is called a Freudian slip but no mention is made of what he said in his address, namely repeal Obamacare and stop the spending.
I read tonight that Obama is seeking to raise the debt limit again and it will be the 6th time in 3 years. Just sayin

That's my Congressman
My Representative is still in rehab.
I am beginning to believe the voice of the people in my area
is not being properly relayed to DC.

Ah! That's quite foreboding. And the crowd chants: "Four more years! Four more years! Four more years!"

I'd say he has a screw loose but I think it fell out long ago.

In the 1990's when McCain ran up and hugged that Vietnamese interrogators who was one of the one's that tortured and killed Americans.....cuckoo cuckoo.....

I understand John McCain was a Vietnamese prisoner in one of their camps for a few years....he must have seen those Vietnamese torturing and killing Americans. To run up and hug the Vietnamese years down the road...

What the heck? Would he pass a mental exam?

I think this may a jump by the msm.

I think this is a satire taped before or after the "live" filming.

I have seen McCain do that before and it is funny.
He is a practical joker.....this time on Romney.

He is a good actor !

HAHA! I saw this on the news. The funniest part is when he corrects himself..."Romney, cough cough, President Romney, ahhooooo cough ergh cough cough, Romney, ehh."

I can't wait till Monday to see what Jon Stewart is going to do with this!

It has already been signed, sealed and delivered that Obama will win the 2012 election. He has been chosen as the one who will usher in the New World Order, in my opinion. This whole election hasn't smelled right from the get go.

This is too much, I even feel bad for the old fart.

Someone give him some Ginko-Biloba, quick!

Is the U.N. Agenda 21 involved ?

Hmmm.

With McCain it was a senior moment.

At his age he has had quite a few.
