For the last month or so at about the same time of the evening, the pages on ATS get all screwed up.

This doesn't happen Every night, but at least 3 times a week.

Pages look like this:

ATS is the only place this has been happening.

It "goes away" after a couple hours...

Anybody else have this happen?

Hm...

That's very strange.

Care to tell me what platform you are running?

OS, browser etc?

I can see what the first screen grab showed but what was wrong with the second one? I didn't even know we had a Comics section here.

Looks like you might've caught a virus. Are you using a proxy by any chance? When is the last time you ran a scan?

Could be the theme he's using in his browser; or perhaps an ad on that changes formatting...

That is a weird one. In fact, I don't recall a similar complaint on ATS.

I've never had it happen to me.

I can't imagine why it would just affect ATS if it was a virus. I am wondering if it is some weird browser issue.

It's not a virus -- I scan regularly and scan every time this happens too.

The images are all screwed up and misplaced on Every page. Some are much larger than usual, most are in the wrong places, and some are just plain missing...

It only happens for a few hours at a time and usually the same times of the evening when it occurs. I haven't changed my theme or anything else in my browser.

It can be "normal" all day, then I hit Refresh or Recent Posts then it goes nuts on just this site for a few hours.

Well let's ask him
OP?.....what browser are you using?

And also, are you using a Proxy?

I've seen that sort of thing on machines that have bad resolution ratios too, that could be it.

Or you are zoomed in too far or too close; with your ctrl + mouswheel thingy..

Other than that really I don't know what it could be.

This has already been asked of you: What browser are you using? Also, what kind of connection to the Internet do you have? What speed is it? You gotta help us help you. Your providing more information helps us do that.

This page is zoomed in a bit. Ya can tell from the lower right corner.

Are you sure you're not playing around with the resolution and zoom?

How long you been using that new Opera browser?

I personally always have issues; I'd suggest trying a different browser for 24/48 hours and see if the issue re-appears.

Hmmmm

Did you read some of the problems with Opera?

certain web pages not loading (Opera 11.52. + Opera 11.6 beta)

I have a big problem with certain web pages not loading at all in their tabs (or not fully loading) when there are already multiple tabs present.

my.opera.com...

I have been using it for 6-7 (?) weeks with the updated version, but I have used Opera for a few years...

I guess for ATS purposes I may have to use IE although I despise it.

Firefox is probably the best, most stable browser out there. And they are against all that restrictive internet legislation, so it's a good companie to support.

That would be my suggestion. As linked above, Opera, or that version is a beta; therefore may have issues.

Actually that's the normal position for the "zoom" slider if I go all the way to the left, it shrinks it too small.

Where it is at is "normal" and there is a little notch there.

Ditto.

Do like they do out there at Area 51.
Back engineer what you're trying to resolve.
Start by simple process of elimination. Get rid of your browser for now. Then take 2 aspirin and get back to us tomorrow
