The 911 commission report says 4 inch knives were used to hi-jack the planes not box cutters, at the time 911 happened you could actually carry a 4 inch knife onto a plane. Who came up with the misleading term box cutter? Most of us think of a utility knife which has a small razor blade in it when we hear the term box cutter not a 4 inch knife. Wonder who the reporter was that came up with box cutter as to the weapons used?
A long time ago I saw an episode of Archie Bunker where Archie's solution to stop hi-jackings was to give every passenger a loaded gun. It sounded crazy at the time now after 911 it does not sound so crazy. Anyway did anyone else figure out the cockpit doors, were they unlocked back then at all times or did the stewardesses unlock them long enough to take coffee in? I never understood that part.
