2012 Mayan Countdown Starts Today

I know there's probably a few threads on this topic going considering todays date, but none posted this video. Kind of long winded. Some strange coincidences if you believe in that. Just thought I's share.

Can you describe some of the "coincidences?" Much like other members on here I refuse to watch videos when I could gain more information by spending the same amount of time reading. Also, when it comes to a topic like 2012 I'm going to bet that most of the material is the same lies spread by New Age authors to sell books.

I am going to live this year like it's my last wether it is or not.

None of you all understand what it means. It's OK.

I live near Cancun, Mexico. In the heart of the Mayan Riviera. Today we buried a time capsule with pics and objects that will be buried for fifty years. Funnily enough, we all seem to think fifty years is a big deal. In Tabasco today they started a doomsday clock counting down one year left until 12 21 2112.

Doesn't anyone think it's odd that the Mayan calendar, measured in Tun and Baktun, somehow coincides with the Roman calendar for 12212112? Pretty unlikely, I say.

Problem is, the Mayan records are misinterpreted, because the years used to be shorter. The Earth was in a different orbit. They kept the clock running for thousands of years, but it was always wrong, when measured in Roman calendar.

Just think, right now in China it is year 4709. How is that significant? About as significant as 12212112.

Any evidence for this?

There is no evidence that any of the planets are in an orbit other than the ones they have have today for billions of years.
