Slit on roof of mouth

Well recently i have developed a slit in the middle roof of my mouth in the direction from teeth to throat(not the length). Its about quarter slit size( like your can stick a quarter coin into it like a slot machine,not literally tho just talking about the size.

I can feel it with my tongue and when i close my mouth and suck pressure to the roof of my mouth it hurts, and im frightened to do it.

Im having problems hocking up lugies now [snip]

Im asking if anyone else knows what this is or have experienced this, i dont remember if i had this when i was younger. The only thing i can think of why i have this is because when i was around 10 i was in a car and hit a bump while drink out of a mcdonalds cup, the straw jammed into the roof of my mouth and blood was gushing for like an hour... ahh quezzy just writing about it i hate thinking about it.

Don't know if its come up from like binge drinking and puking alot or what...

Doing an internet search all that comes up is like people saying they have holes in the roof of there mouth some times which they can blow air threw, i cant blow air through it, or something about cleft life, ahhh hope i dont have that.

As an EMT, I would have to advise you to go see a doctor, sooner rather than later, as it could be the start of something serious. I haven't heard of this before, but you need to go get it checked out. How would this fit into ATS though? Just curious.

Definitely not a joke, its serious but i think ive had it for a month or so and i don't know if its gotten a lil bit better or if im just getting use to it.

I think my 3rd eye has slipped and is falling through the gap in the roof of my mouth. Somebody help

You could just be getting used to it. Definitely get it checked out soon! Don't wait to see a doctor.

alright i don't think i can push my self to go to the doctor but i got a root canal that need a cap soon so ill ask the dentist...
